Overview
Reporting on your site or asset can be time-consuming, generating paperwork and needless filing.
Here at Hammer Missions, we have developed a method of creating reports directly within our software platform, by simply clicking a button.
In this guide, we will take you through the process and how you can create your own reports when using Hammer Missions.
You can generate two types of reports: the standard report and the advanced report.
Note that reports can only be auto-generated if your project has annotated images
This article assumes you have already captured your data and created your project in Hammer Hub.
For more information on data capture and processing please our post below:
Standard Report
The standard report uses the default options when selecting report from within your Hammer Missions project.
Step 1: Open your project and select REPORT in the top right-hand corner.
Step 2: Once you have selected REPORT you will see a pop-up for Generate Report.
Step 3: For the standard, or default, report leave the last three boxes checked. This will produce a basic report on your annotated images, select GENERATE REPORT
Step 4: The report will now start generating, please be patient as this may take some time depending on the size of the report.
Step 5: Once the report has finished generating you will see the pop-up DOWNLOAD REPORT
Step 6: You can now download the report by selecting DOWNLOAD REPORT. Once this has been done you can open the report from its destination folder. The report will be in PDF format.
Step 7: As you can see from the generated report you are able to see the annotations that you had created and see the image data including altitude, lat, long, heading, and date the picture was taken.
You can also see the annotation data including the tags and comments created.
Advanced Report
The more advanced report includes additional checkboxes, as per the standard report please select REPORT in the top right-hand corner.
Step 1: Now you have the reporting option open please select the additional tick boxes depending on what you want to add. In this example, we will select all of the additional tick boxes.
Step 2: You will see the extra options include:
Add introductory paragraph
Add cover image
Use Custom logo
Include guest access for all images in report
Step 3: By adding these you can enhance your report to include more detail (a paragraph about the report and what it may contain) and both a logo and a cover image.
See the example below with the additions highlighted in red:
3: When selecting 'Include guest access for all images in report' each of the images in the report will have a separate link, as shown below and highlighted in red.
Step 4: Pressing this link will open the Hammer Hub and does not require an active Hammer Missions account)
