At Hammer Missions™, we help drone pilots collect and analyze better drone data by using our adaptive mission planning app and web-based data analysis platform.
We're currently on the hunt for a hands-on drone pilot and support lead who can take charge of testing new product releases & supporting our growing customer base. You will be working very closely with our senior management, software engineers and digital marketers in this role and will be leading all testing & support functions at the startup from beginning to completion!
This is an opportunity to be a part of the founding team, and significantly influence product, testing & support activities and play a significant role in shaping the future of aerial robotics.
💪 Responsibilities
Take Ownership of product quality and technical customer support.
>> Field Testing and QA
Plan, design and implement testing strategies for products in R&D.
Analyze, test and monitor company software in production.
Conduct frequent field-tests to test software products in a live environment.
Provide written feedback to the team based on field tests and support queries.
>> Technical Support & Input
Support marketing teams in generating high quality technical content.
Support current and prospective customers via email, web chat and company forums.
Document and maintain the company's product wiki & support articles.
Aid product planning by providing feedback received from customers.
✨ Skills & Qualifications
Core
Strong RC flying skills on quad-copter drones.
High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Comfortable context switching between multiple tasks.
A high-level understanding of product testing and QA.
2+ Years experience as a commercial drone operator in the UK.
2-5 Years experience in a technical role at a B2B organisation.
Experience in a customer facing role (sales or support).
Plus
Technical qualifications in drones, cameras, geospatial data or related field.
PfCo, A2 CofC or other aerial vehicles certification.
📍 Location
We're based in West London, UK.
🚗 Travel
Fully Remote with ad hoc commute to our offices in west London. You might also travel to and from drone flying sites in and around west London to test systems in R&D.
Don't worry, you'll be travelling with other members of team and it will be all paid for by us!
