Overview
Although the Hammer Apps (iOS/Android) are compatible with a vast number of drones there are still some on the market that we are yet integrate with, and are our on long term product roadmap.
To find out what drones Hammer Missions is compatible with please see our Supported Drones and Devices page on our website.
So how do you use a drone that isn't on our supported drones list?
In this article, we will go through the steps you can use to still use the unsupported drone with Hammer Hub.
How To Use Your Unsupported Drone
1: Open Hammer Hub (hub.hammermissions.com) on a web browser
2: Plan your mission
3: Once our mission has been planned select the spanner icon at the bottom right-hand side of the screen to open the settings page.
4: Select EXPORT KML as highlighted below in red
5: Your KML file will now download to your specified download folder
6: Now you have the KML file you can import it to your DJI app (e.g. DJI Pilot) or onto the controller to enable the mission you planned with Hammer Hub
7: Fly the mission using the imported KML and your DJI app.
8: Once you have flown the mission you can upload the collected data back to the Hammer Hub and create a project. From there you will be able to annotate and report on your findings and share that data with clients or stakeholders.
For more information on uploading and analyzing data please see our posts:
