What's New in Hammer Missions - December 2021 Update

Note: These updates are scheduled to be released on 3rd Jan 2022.

1. Linear Mapping Mission - New Width Mode!

Now use our linear mapping mission for corridor-style mapping missions! Whether it is a river, a pipeline or a coastline, this linear mapping mission will help you plan your linear mission along the target structure by specifying the structure width, overlap and altitude.

2. Flights Logs - Device Timestamp

Flight logs automatically generated on iOS devices (and auto-synced with Hammer Hub) now include the device timestamp as well as the GPS timestamp from the drone. These can be helpful for post-flight diagnostics or reconciling data from multiple GPS systems. For e.g. magnetometer GPS data with drone's GPS data.

3. Camera Interval - RAW+JPEG mode

We have changed the camera interval for Phantom drones when capturing in RAW+JPEG mode to 5s to allow for faster drone speeds during flight, whilst preserving data quality.

4. Mission Files

Mission files are now ordered by the time they were last opened, providing quicker access!

5. Photo Progress Indicator

We have included a new photo progress indicator! This feature will show you a camera icon on the map every time a photo is taken, allowing you to make sure that all photos are taken by the drone during flight.

6. Overall Improvement and Fixes

- Map labels are now shown during mission editing

- Easier flow for email verification
